A training of trainers of was held on June 24-25, 2009, on the Law “On gender equality in society” and the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW). The training was organised by DEOP with the UNIFEM support as part of the “MoLSAEO Yearly Action Plan (2008 – 2009) – On the support of the Joint UN Programme on Gender Equality in Albania”.

Domestic violence in Albania: A nationwide population-based survey, conducted by the institute of statistics (INSTAT) in co-operation with MoLSAEO The nationwide population-based survey has been conducted during 2007 – 2008 by INSTAT in co-operation with MoLSAEO and has been launched on 12 June 2009 in Tirana.
